Monte Thomas – is an educator, organist and conductor, born in Portsmouth, Virginia. He received the Bachelor’s Degree in Music from Shaw University in Raleigh, NC where he studied organ with James Abbington. He earned the Masters of Music and Doctor of Musical Arts degrees in Organ from the University of Michigan (Ann Arbor) where he studied organ with Dr.James Kibbie and the late Professor Robert Glasgow. He is currently Director of Choral Activities at I.C. Norcom High School in VA.
